Registration Information

The Campbell Recreation and Community Services Department offers multiple ways to register for recreation classes. For a listing of classes take a look at the Recreation Activity Guide. To register for classes use on of the methods outlined below.

Residents
A resident is anyone living within the Campbell city limits (zip code 95008). P.O. boxes and school district are not considered residents. Those residents living within the Campbell unincorporated city limits, and have a zip code other than 95008, should contact the Recreation Office to verify resident status. Proof of residency can be provided by a current California Driver’s License, pre-printed personal check, or a current residential utility bill with the owner’s name and address printed on it. If registering online, the billing address for the credit card used must match the Campbell home address on the online account.
 
Refunds, Transfers & Cancellations
Full refunds are given only when a class or program is canceled by the Recreation Department. Refunds, less $10 administration fee per activity, person, will be given to registered participants who cancel up to  5 business days in advance of class start date. Cancellations or transfers with less than 5 business days notice will not receive a refund.

Transfers are accepted from one class to another up to 5 business days in advance of a class start date. Medical emergencies are exempted from this policy; however, a signed statement from your doctor stating that the patient is unable to participate in the activity is required. A minimum number of participants is required to hold a class. Where enrollment is low, the Recreation Department reserves the right to cancel a program. A $25 fee will be charged on all returned checks.

Refunds, transfers, and cancellations cannot be done online. Written requests must be received by the Recreation Office either by email at recreation@cityofcampbell.com or in-person at 1 W Campbell Ave. Room C-31, Campbell, CA 95008.
 
Age levels indicate the participant must be that age by the starting date of the class. Proof of age may be required for some programs (pre-school, etc.).

Waiting lists are established once a class is filled. If a vacancy occurs up to two working days prior to a class starting, waiting list names will be called and/or emailed and given a limited time to register for the vacancy.  Less than two days before class starts, openings will be filled on a first come, first serve basis.
